A Vintage day's bird watching at Blashford lakes

Saturday 29th April 2023. Today I thought I'd try out the  Swift Audubon's 8.5x44  and the  Mirador 1560 15-60x60 spotting scope  c/w a very sturdy  Slik D3 Tripod  all from the 1980's. To Blashford Lakes which was surprisingly quiet considering it was a bank holiday weekend.  The good old reliable Swift Audubon's still good by today’s standards Mirador 1560 15-60 x 60 c/w the Slik D3 Tripod  It's like going back to the 1980’s  Full extended at the mound I also picked up some more books, two from Blashford and one from Oxfam Shaftesbury. Dream Island by R. M. Lockley  (middle)  mainly about Skokholm from Oxfam the outside two from Blashford.
